Welcome to today's episode of Reflective Hour.  I'm your host,  Tammy Toney-Butler.  We all know who the real host of this show is,  and that's Christ.

For we strive in everything we do to speak His Truth in a world full of deception,

in a world full of man's truth.

We strive to be that voice that carries His Word to His people so they can be transformed and renewed in mind, body, and spirit.

And live a life full of peace, joy, hope, love, and long-suffering, filled with His peaceful presence.

Holy Spirit, come,  have Your way in this show,  in the time we have together.  Have Your way and transform the hearts and the minds of the people.

For there is healing in the Love of Christ.

The love that few people have ever known in their real life.

I am one of them.

I did not have a father.  I lost him to Vietnam, and after that, I lost him to alcoholism and addiction, coping in the aftermath of trauma.

He became a police officer, and on Father's Day, when I was around 15, he took his life and used his duty weapon.

And actually, we buried him on Father's Day.  He died, actually, two days before;  It was on a Friday, the 13th, and we buried him on Father's Day, the 15th.  And I believe I was around  15 years old.

I longed for my father,  for his love.  He had abandoned me years before,  but he parented in survival mode, as so many are doing today.

That is why,  when the Love of Christ transformed me,  I became a new creature with a renewed mind, body, and spirit, for we are one with Christ.

One with the father.  His Love for me still blows me away,  even to this day.  His love for His sheep, His children,  for even if the 99 are safe, He always goes after the one.

Are you that one?

Is He coming after you today?

Is He saying, seek Me, seek My love,  you'll never regret it.

I used to sit in the bathroom with the door locked,  the boogeyman outside, trying to find comfort in the Scriptures,  in the Words.  In the love song of My Creator, I was trying to find a way out of the darkness that I was in that threatened to consume me,  to take everything I had.

Yet I turned to God even then, but I still had to unlock that bathroom door and walk out and be made to do unspeakable things as a child.

Years later, I found His Love in my pathway to wholeness and healing.  I found answers to questions.

I found reasons why I couldn't see Him in those dark moments, but He was there.  He was always there.

He was there the day I decided that I was going to do something devastating if I did not get rescued from the situation.

But by the grace of God, I was.  I refused to be broken.

I refused to have them take that love of Christ from me,  that Spirit of Truth.

I was forever His child.  I couldn't see it, for He knew me before He formed me in the womb and put me on a purposeful path for His Namesake.

Boy, that was a tongue twister, right?  A purposeful path for His Namesake.

We all sin and fall short of the Glory of the Lord.

There is no condemnation in Christ.

It is His love that sustains us.  That redeems us, that restores us,  that gives us hope when we're full of shame and guilt, fear and regret,  depression, anxiety,  that we will rise above it.

There is freedom in the Word of God. There is Freedom in Christ.

And I decree and declare, anyone within the sound of this podcast or this show,  that you will be set free.

Every chain will be broken.

Every negative word spoken over your life is erased.

You will know the Truth, and you will be set free.

You will be whole.

You will be transformed in mind, body, and spirit.

Follow along with me.

Follow along with my journey.

It's been a long one.

I'm still shedding layer after layer, but through His love, I have been set free, restored, and redeemed,  made in His image,  resting on His promises,  on the Truth of His Word.

Let's look at a Psalm now.

Psalm 33.
King James Version

33: Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.

2: Praise the Lord with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.

3: Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

4: For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.

5: He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.

6: By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

7: He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.

8: Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

9: For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

10: The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.

11: The counsel of the Lord standeth forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

12: Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

13: The Lord looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.

14: From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.

15: He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.

16: There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.

17: An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.

18: Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

19: To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

20: Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield.

21: For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

22: Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

Psalm 33.

And I was reading out of the book of Psalms, the King James Version.

Thank you, Abba Father.  Thank You for loving me as it says in Your Word, speaking Your goodness over my life, and letting Your Words of Truth guide and comfort me.

Thank You for loving me when I couldn't love myself.  Thank You for always being there even when I couldn't see You, and I couldn't cry out for help because I thought I was too dirty to reach for You for that Light of Truth, that hope.

My love for You is without fail.

My love for You is without fail.

My love for You, Oh God, is without fail.

I love You because You transformed my life.

You gave me life and brought me out of the spiritual famine that I was facing that we're all facing today—a world of hate, chaos, drama, and fear.

But I say no more.

I call forth peace,  glory,  hope,  long-suffering, strength,  a renewed sense of spirit and purpose. Wholeness in the Love Song of Our Creator,

May you see Him and only Him.  May He alone guide you in all that you do.

May He alone direct your path, anchor you, and strengthen you as you face those storms of life.

We are to tether to Him and His truth and be transformed by renewing our minds.

Just look to the scriptures.  Look at what it says in His Word.  Look at what it says in His Word.

He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.

Father spoke the world into existence.

And as I speak to you now,  I speak hope and peace and freedom from addiction,  from fear in your life.

You'll be transformed and renewed as I was by the Light of His countenance and His glory.

Trust in Him with everything you have.  Follow Him.  Follow His peace, His love.

Let Him guide you this day.  You are never too dirty to seek Christ.

You are never too dirty.

Confess all that you need to, and recognize that He's waiting.

He's waiting to deliver you out of Egypt and the wilderness.

So that you can enter into the Promised Land of following His goodness, His strength, and His mercy to get you through another day, hour, and minute in this world that we live in.

You are the bearers of Light to a dark world.

Go forth and conquer this day, this hour,  this minute.

Walk in Spirit and Truth.

Let Him alone guide you.

Rest on the Peace of the Promises of His Word that loving Him brings, drawing strength from that Wellspring of Living Water that will never run dry, for He is our Bread of Life, our Sustainer, and our Redeemer.

And this is a Word for you today from Him,  letting you know that He will never leave you nor forsake you,  that He has you tucked under His wing,  protected.

You're fearfully, beautifully, and wonderfully made—daughters and sons of the King.

Walk in that power, that freedom, and that anointing this day.

In Jesus's name we pray,  we decree and declare all things in His mighty name.

And that's His episode of Reflective Hour.
