Reflective Hour with Tammy Toney-Butler

Story of Jonah

Tammy Toney-Butler Season 2 Episode 28

Send us a text

Today's episode of Reflective Hour with Tammy Toney-Butler examines the book of Jonah. Jonah is a mirror for us as followers of Christ. The book explores the characters of a man of God, a bunch of sailors, a King, and a city.

As the Body of Christ, His church, we must ask ourselves if we are showing love to our enemies. What are our motives? Do they affect our obedience to God?

Jonah exhibits major character flaws as a man of God and a prophet, yet Abba Father showed him mercy. God is patient with Jonah despite Jonah sulking, complaining, having pride, selfishness, and willful disobedience.

God sent a storm through an East Wind to wake Jonah up.

How many of you have been facing a storm or recently gone through one? What was the storm trying to teach you?

Let's explore this and more in this powerful episode.

Welcome to today's episode of Reflective Hour with Tammy Toney-Butler. But we all know who the real host of this show is, and that's Christ by way of his precious Holy Spirit. Thank you so much for joining us in this time that we have together today. The Lord had placed on my heart Jonah and the story of Jonah found in the book of Jonah. And today I want to start by the reading of the word, but let's pray first. Abba Father, oh the Father of our precious Lord Jesus, Thank you for sending Lord Jesus to die on the cross for us so that we could have everlasting life and draw from his wellspring a living water. Holy Spirit, come have your way in this time that we have together. Bring your presence and your truth. so that you can speak in and through me and get your message across during this episode, during this hour, during this time that we have together, because it's all about you and your glory and your strength that they can draw from. May they have wisdom and understanding to receive this message in its intent and have the revelation that you want them to have so that they can glean the meat of the word and not just rely on milk. We give this to you, Lord Jesus. We remove any obstacles and any blinders from them hearing this message and responding to it. In the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost, we pray. Amen. So we are going to begin and I'm going to be reading Jonah. And Jonah is an amazing book of the Bible. Jonah was a man of God, a prophet, who had definite character flaws. But many of us can have flaws and still be used by God. So there is hope. And we will explore some of Jonah's flaws as we get into the message or into this Bible teaching. And I want to pull up. a PowerPoint just that the Lord had me create about the story of Jonah. And I titled it a call to repentance or he did. And, you know, this is a powerful message for us, his body of believers, his church, his faithful remnant in this hour. Jonah believed that his way was the best way. And he ran from actually obeying God or tried to. And of course, God sent an east wind to cause a storm to put Jonah back on the right path or to go after Jonah and get him back in line with all that God had for him. So we are going to dive in now and I thank you everyone who's tuning in. Remember to like and subscribe to our YouTube channel. Um, and if you're listening to this in podcast format, if you want to see the PowerPoint, obviously you'll have to go to the YouTube channel and you can see the episode, which I will put up, uh, as soon as we are done. I also will be going live. A father has placed a message on my heart today. Uh, and it is also, uh, regarding, uh, a little bit of Jonah, but it's the four winds of God. And we'll be focusing on the east wind. And I'm going to do that on the Reflective Spaces Ministry website. I will be going live today. So make sure you like and subscribe to that as well on our YouTube channel so that you know that I will be live and you will be able to tune in. So we are going to get started in the word that Father has for us today. And he wants me to read Jonah. It's very short. There's only four little chapters. And I'll be reading out of the New Living Translation. Jonah runs from the Lord. I really just love this because it's almost like story time. And I don't know, I just like Jonah and his response because it lets me know there's hope for me and others who have had moments to where They've questioned God or they've had moments where they've complained or not put their best self forward in their service to the Lord. And so Jonah helps us and actually, as believers, shines a mirror on us and makes us look at our own character. You know, are we prideful like Jonah was? Um, do we believe that we're the center of our own universe? Um, you know, do we have anger? Are we judging others, you know? Are we offering the pathway to repentance and forgiveness that God offers to his people as demonstrated in this book of the Bible through his mercy and he's a just God and we'll have that portrayed in the scriptures. And so we have to ask ourselves, are we as believers in Christ, having the heart of Christ and the mind of Christ, does our behavior, Do our words, do our actions and deeds line up with the will of God? Do we come from that place of surrender to where we say, not our way, but yours be done, O God? it really forces us to look inward. And are we demonstrating the principles of the kingdom of God? Are we loving God with all of our heart, not leaning on our own understanding? And are we loving our neighbor as ourself? And our neighbor may be of a different race, a nationality. You know, are we showing them the love of christ you know are we going to where god has told us to go and sowing into those fields without judgment without preconceived bias are we doing that or are we spreading uh hate propaganda because when we serve god it has to be about his will Not ours. We don't go by feelings. We don't go by emotions. We don't go by anger like Jonah did. And Jonah, he actually kind of won a little revenge or vengeance. I mean, he wanted to see the people of Nineveh destroyed because it made him look better. But is it about us, you know, losing face? Or is it about showing the world God? in God's mercy and his grace and that he doesn't want any of us to perish. You know, he wants us to bring the good news of the gospel to a lost, dark and dying world. And so that's kind of what we have to ask ourself as we, you know, dive into Jonah here. Jonah runs from the Lord. The Lord gave this message to Jonah, son of Amaitah, get up and go to the great city of Nineveh. Announce my judgment against it because I have seen how wicked its people are. But Jonah got up and went in the opposite direction to get away from the Lord. Wow. How many of us have run from what the Lord has called us to do when you know he's speaking to us, but you're, You're just like, no, no, I'm not going to listen to that. You don't want to hear it. And you there's there's actually a danger when you close your heart to the Lord and you don't want to listen to the Holy Spirit because you can become desensitized. And that's not a good thing. We need the conviction of the spirit. We need to know this is the way walk in it. This is the narrow gate. That leads us on that path of righteousness for his name's sake. And so we have to be very careful that we don't try to advance our own agenda, even from the pulpit. And even in our prayers that we're listening and gleaning from the Holy Spirit, even him interceding. so that we can pray in spirit and truth to bring about God's perfect will as obedient creatures, as obedient servants unto the Lord, because that's why we were placed on the earth, right? That's why he knew us before he formed us in the womb. He knew that he had created us to be and purposed us to have, to do something for the kingdom of God. And then we were formed again, in our mother's, you know, bellies and came forth and were born into this world. But we are in the world, but not of the world. We all have a mission to fulfill for the kingdom of God. And, you know, that's what we have to ask ourselves. Are we doing that? Are we walking a in the pathway that God has chose for us, or are we trying to forge our own way or running from that path, knowing that we are going the opposite direction of what God has called us to do and the territory that he has called us to possess for the kingdom of God. Because in this hour, it can only be about advancing God's will and the kingdom of God and uniting us as a body of believers. But Jonah got up and went in the opposite direction to get away from the Lord. He went down to the port of Joppa where he found a ship leaving for Tarshish. He bought a ticket and went on board, hoping to escape from the Lord by sailing to Tarshish. But the Lord hurled a powerful wind over the sea, causing a violent storm that threatened to break the ship apart. Fearing for their lives, the desperate sailors shouted to their gods for help and threw cargo overboard to lighten the ship. But all this time Jonah was sound asleep, down in the hold. So the captain went down after him. How can you sleep at a time like this? He shouted. Get up and pray to your God. Maybe he will pay attention to us and spare our lives. And don't miss that part that the sailors, they were fearing for their lives and the desperate sailors shouted to their gods. That's plural. So they were pagan. They worship many gods. But all this time, Jonah was sound asleep down in the hold. So the captain went down after him. How can you sleep at a time like this? He shouted, get up and pray to your God, which is singular. And obviously, Jonah believed in one God, you know, Abba Father, the God of our precious Lord Jesus, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Maybe he will pay attention to us and spare our lives. Then the crew cast lots to see which of them had offended the gods and caused the terrible storm. Again, they were still trying to get words from their gods, but their gods weren't doing anything or helping them, even though they were calling upon them in this time because there's only one God. When they did this, the lots identified Jonah as the culprit. Why has this awful storm come down on us? They demanded, who are you? What is your line of work? What country are you from? What is your nationality? Jonah answered, I am a Hebrew and I worship the Lord, the God of heaven who made the sea and the land. The sailors were terrified when they heard this, for he had already told them he was running away from the Lord. Oh, why did you do it? They groaned. And since the storm was getting worse all the time, they asked him, what should we do to you to stop the storm? Throw me into the sea, Jonas said, and it will become calm again. I know that this terrible storm is all my fault. Wow. I know this terrible storm is all my fault. God sent a storm to wake up Jonah. How many of you have had a storm in your life? And you look at it and you're questioning, well, you know, why is this happening? We have to ask ourselves, well, who brought the storm on? Did God lift his hand of protection, his hedge like he did over Joe for a little while? So that we could be woken up. Did he send his wind, his east wind to us? You know, there's the wind of judgment, which is correction. It's not from an angry, mean God. It's from a God that wants us to be on the right path to salvation, to abundant life, to purpose, and be about the Father's business and be in alignment so that we can carry out His plans for us, His children, His believers. Jonah was selfish and prideful. And, you know, it was all about him. And, you know, he tried to run from God. Even, you know, he's like, throw me into the sea. I mean, you know, he was even saying, you know, well, I'll just maybe give up my life and then I won't have to face what God's called me to do. You know, that doesn't serve anyone when we have so much hurt in us and despair and we question why we are alive. And sadly, some question that and take their life or, you know, do something to harm themselves. Many of you know I lost my father to suicide. We buried him on Father's Day when I was a teenager. And I'd lost him to Vietnam before that. He came back, wasn't the same. And he lost his battle with complex trauma and coping through addiction. And maybe he thought that it was better if he wasn't around. And I can tell you from the person left behind that always, even to this day, wants her father, that wasn't the right choice. And I don't think Jonah made the right choice here, obviously. But we don't know. So I'm not sure why he jumped overboard. But anyway. Instead, the sailors rode even harder to get the ship to the land, but the stormy sea was too violent for them and they couldn't make it. Then they cried out to the Lord, Jonah's God. Oh Lord, they pleaded, don't make us die for this man's sin and don't hold us responsible for his death. Oh Lord, you have sent this storm upon him for your own good reasons. Wow. So they actually cried out To the Lord, Jonah's God. Can you see that? Wow. Then the sailors picked Jonah up and threw him into the raging sea and the storm stopped at once. So they threw him overboard. The sailors were all struck by the Lord's great power and they offered him a sacrifice and vowed to serve him. So you see, you have, and Holy Spirit, help me always say this correctly. You have Jonah, who was a man of God, a prophet. who was not following God's will. He was acting out of anger. He was acting out of his own selfish, for his own selfish reasons, wanting his own vengeance. And actually, even we're going to find out he went to speak on behalf of God, but really kind of not giving the entire message or context. We have to be very careful when we take things out of context as teachers, as leaders, as faith leaders, as ministers, or as anyone that represents God. We have to make sure that we speak his truth, that we follow his will and his will alone, and that we don't speak from a place of worldly values or worldly influence and compromise. We have to be very careful that we just speak as God has us speak, his words of truth. And you see here, these pagan sailors actually turned to God, showed an act of repentance, an earnest prayer. Remember the prayer of a righteous man availeth much, the earnest prayer. And they actually turned and repented. which was powerful. And then of course you have the man of God that's supposed to be turning and following God and obeying. And he's the one that you have to question his behavior. The sailors were all struck by the Lord's great power and they offered him a sacrifice and vowed to serve him. Now the Lord had arranged for a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was inside the fish for three days and three nights. See that the Lord had arranged already knew the infirmary beginning and already had arranged a means of escape for Jonah, a divine way out, a divine interruption to be able to again, uh, show him, uh, mercy and grace. And let's not lose sight of this. Um, and Jonah was inside the fish for three days and three nights because, um, When we look at that a little bit more, we see the Bible tells us that he was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. Then he was delivered and went to Nineveh where the people responded with repentance. These events in Jonah's life were cited by Jesus. And they when the religious leaders demanded that Jesus give them a sign to prove his authority, Jesus said the only sign they would receive was a sign of Jonah. They would see Jesus swallowed by death. He was. And then Jonah was swallowed by the whale and delivered after three days. And Jonah was delivered after three days. So it was reminiscent or, you know, foreshadowing. Is that the word? the death of Christ and that he would spend three days, but rising into victory. And so Jonah got a new chance at life after three days. And we know that we have abundant life because Jesus rose again and is seated in heavenly places to the right side of the Father. And so we have abundant life and freedom from the wages of sin as long as we believe on Lord Jesus. Jonah's prayer. Then Jonah prayed to the Lord, his God from inside the fish. He said, I cried out to the Lord in my great trouble. Another word for trouble is affliction. And he answered me. I called to you from the land of the dead and Lord, you heard me. You threw me into the ocean depths and I sank down to the heart of the sea. The mighty waters engulfed me. I was buried beneath your wild and stormy waves. Then I said, oh Lord, you've driven me from your presence. Yet I will look once more towards your holy temple. So Jonah looked to God. I sank beneath the waves and the waters closed over me. Seaweed wrapped itself around my head. I sank down to the very roots of the mountains. I was imprisoned in the earth. whose gates locked shut forever. But you, oh Lord, my God, snatched me from the jaws of death. As my life was slipping away, I remembered the Lord. And my earnest prayer, there's the earnest prayer again, went out to you in your holy temple. Those who worship false gods turn their backs on all God's mercies. but I will offer sacrifices to you with songs of praise and I will fulfill all my vows for my salvation comes from the Lord alone. Then the Lord ordered the fish to spit Jonah out onto the beach. So he was vomited out of his mouth onto the beach and back in alignment for his assignment. Jonah goes to Nineveh. This is starting in three now. Then the Lord spoke to Jonah a second time. Get up and go to this great city of Nineveh and deliver the message I've given you. So he gave him a message that he was supposed to deliver to the people of Nineveh. This time Jonah obeyed the Lord's command and went to Nineveh, a city so large that it took three days to see it all. On the day Jonah entered the city, he shouted to the crowds, Forty days from now, Nineveh will be destroyed. The people of Nineveh believed God's message and from the greatest to the least they declared a fast and put on burlap to show their sorrow. So the people of Nineveh heard the message And they actually repented, showed godly sorrow and called out to God and believed, wow, we need to change our ways. We need to truly show repentance and turn back to God and get away from this pagan lifestyle and these idols and this evil. But we see with Jesus that the religious leaders and the people, they didn't really believe his message anymore. And they they turned their back and he was, you know, persecuted and obviously put to death. And they didn't really listen to this call to repentance. When the king of Nineveh heard what Jonah was saying, he stepped down from his throne and took off his royal robes. He dressed himself in burlap and sat on a heap of ashes. Then the king and his nobles sent this decree throughout the city. No one, not even the animals from your herds and flocks may eat or drink anything at all. People and animals alike must wear garments of mourning and everyone must pray earnestly to God. They must turn from their evil ways and stop all their violence. Who can tell, perhaps even yet, God will change his mind and hold back his fierce anger from destroying us. When God saw what they had done and how they had put a stop to their evil ways, he changed his mind and did not carry out the destruction he had threatened. Boy, this sends a message that we need to walk in obedience to the Lord, recognizing his ways, are higher than our ways. And it's not about our own agendas. It's about his perfect will for bringing the kingdom of God to heaven, as it says in his word to earth, you know, as it is in heaven. And also it says here that even the king, the leader repented that he, he said, listen, people get in line. So he showed unity. recognizing that we're in a dire situation and we have to turn back to God, one God, singular, and we have to worship him. And we have to turn away from these idols of power and money and fame and prestige and this evil, this sexual immorality and all these things that are happening in this evil city. We have to stop this stuff because God is sending a stark warning. And he is sending that warning to us today. And we can earnestly pray, earnestly pray and stop this divisiveness, this hate that's infiltrating and contaminating the body. believers in this in the purified gospel we can unite and stop that just like we prayed earnestly earnestly and hurricane Milton went from a five down to a three or so storm and and in cause destruction yes but much less than it would have if we had not united with the prayer of faith. As we need to unite with the prayer of faith, that we get in alignment with God's perfect will for our nation and our world. Jonah's anger at the Lord's mercy. This is four. This change of plans greatly upset Jonah and he became very angry. So he complained to the Lord about it. Didn't I say before I left home that you would do this, Lord? That is why I ran away to Tarshish. I knew that you are a merciful and compassionate God, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. Yes, he is. You're eager to turn back from destroying people. Just kill me now, Lord. I'd rather be dead than alive if what I predicted will not happen. So Jonah was was so concerned about saving face and and, you know, and. You know, he wanted them destroyed. But what would that have served? I mean, really, we're supposed to show the love of Christ and forgiveness and mercy and just keep calling for, you know, repentance and showing people the love that transforms, that heals, that sets free. The Lord replied, is it right for you to be angry about this? Then Jonah went out to the east side of the city and made a shelter to sit under as he waited to see what would happen to the city. And the Lord God arranged for a leafy plant to grow there. And soon it spread its broad leaves over Jonah's head, shading him from the sun. This eased his discomfort and Jonah was very grateful for the plant. The Lord was even concerned with Jonah when he again acted out of spite and rebellion. And so I'm just going to complain and go sit on this, you know, sit up here on, you know, on this shelter. And he's just going to sit up here. I'm sorry, where he went to sit to wait to see what was going to happen to the city. And he sat there and the Lord took mercy on him even then and shaded him from the hottest part of the sun. But God also arranged for a worm. The next morning at dawn, the worm ate through the stem of the plant so that it withered away. And as the sun grew hot, God arranged for a scorching east wind. to blow on Jonah. The sun beat down on his head until he grew faint and wished to die. Death is certainly better than living like this, he exclaimed. Then God said to Jonah, is it right for you to be angry because the plant died? Yes, Jonah retorted, even angry enough to die. Then the Lord said, you feel sorry about the plant, though you did nothing to put it there. It came quickly and died quickly. But Nineveh has more than a hundred and twenty thousand people living in spiritual darkness. Not to mention all the animals. Shouldn't I feel sorry for such a great city? Wow, that's powerful. Now, let's look at a little bit more at our PowerPoint. The one that the Lord had me quickly put together here. And as the sun grew hot, God arranged for scorching east wind to blow on Jonah. The sun beat down on his head until he grew faint and wished to die. Death is certainly better than living like this, he explained. How many of you have felt that way? That you'd be better off not being alive? And it's just, that's just not true. It's a lie from the enemy. We don't have to walk in spiritual darkness. We don't have to walk in bondage. As Christians, as believers in Christ, Christ died on the cross so we could be set free and delivered. And delivered. That means delivered from shame, from addiction, from guilt, from self-loathing, from sickness, from cancer, from all those things. We get to have abundant life now. We get to speak life into existence. We don't have to have and live in this spiritual darkness, this oppression, this bondage that's over us. Then God said to Jonah, is it right for you to be angry because the plant died? Yes, Jonah retorted, even angry enough to die. Jonah couldn't even appreciate that God, he did for a little bit. But did Jonah really ever have a heart change? Or did he just go through the motions of being an obedient Christian and To where when you looked at him, you would think, wow, he's serving the Lord. He's going where God sent him finally. And there's people out there who are serving the poor, who are donating to charities. But what's the posture of their heart? That's what God looks at. And what's your inner man doing? What is what is that? You know, what's going on in your inner man? And that's what as when Christ comes in and he sets us free through salvation and the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of us, then he starts to do a work in us and transform our mind and our heart so that we can have a heart filled with a love and and humility and merciful lens that Christ brings to us as his followers. And we can portray that and put that out to others. Then the Lord said, you feel sorry about the plant, though you did nothing to put it there. It came quickly and died quickly. So Jonah's feeling sorry for a plant. Some of you may feel sorry for your dog, but you show absolutely no emotion for someone who's lost, who doesn't know God. Are you spreading the gospel? Are you your brother's keeper? Are you going after the one, even though the ninety-nine are saved? You know, are you going where God's leading you, even though it may be uncomfortable, difficult? Or are you choosing what's best for you? Are you serving in a local church or in a capacity, maybe in a nonprofit, but inside your heart's far from that and you're actually resistant and you're actually having seeds of hate, seeds of bitterness, seeds of revenge creeping in. And that can threaten your walk with God and you hearing him correctly and truly walking in obedience and the love that God wants us to show to our fellow man. But Nineveh has more than a hundred and twenty thousand people living in spiritual darkness, not to mention all the animals. Shouldn't I feel sorry for such a great city? Different nationalities, races, genders, male, female, all this stuff. What did God want for Jonah to show them him? To say, listen, I've had enough. I want you to repent. Get rid of these idols. Turn away from that stuff. Stop doing evil. Or I'm going to come and destroy you. Because they were already destroying themselves. They were already in spiritual darkness. They were already in misery and torment. They were destroying themselves slowly and starting to destroy the other, you know, nations surrounding them and their behavior started to affect others. And we can do that. We can contaminate and infect others if there's seeds of hate inside of us. And we need to sow out words that are in line with the will of God. Let's look at East Wind in Scripture. And again, I'm going to go over this a little bit more in my sermon or message in a little while on Reflective Spaces Ministry. The East wind in scripture, wind of correction and judgment exposes and tears down demonic altars, destroys demonic locusts in our lives. And what order locusts they steal, they kill, they destroy, they take, they, they may leave you spiritually dry, you know, and drain everything that you have even drain your resources, right? removes everything from our lives that is not like God. So an east wind can actually, a storm can actually blow in like it did here, even with the sailors and even with Jonah to get him back on the right track. And some of us storms can come, whether they're financial, whether they're through illness, whether they're through the loss of a job or the breakup of a marriage, And they can make us turn inward and really seek God and say, wait a minute, what is going on? Why is this happening to me? And you start to call out to God in that moment. But we have to remember God's always there now. And he doesn't want us just to call out to him. in times of trouble. He wants us to function as a believer in Christ with Jesus in us from a place of power and authority and victory. We can have an abundant, victorious life. Sickness is not our portion. Cancer is not our portion. These things are not our portions. We can speak to those storms in our life and say, peace, be still. And they will obey us and get under our feet. because we have that power and authority as believers in Christ. We get to speak to that mountain and it moves. Now we need to ensure that we are in alignment with God's will, that our heart in the posture of our heart is pure so that we can speak on behalf of God and call forth his perfect will for cities, for nations, for the world. so that the gospel can be spread far and wide, that revival can break out in the hearts of the people and spread throughout the world. And the east wind in scripture, it breaks and destroys all demonic principalities. And remember in Ephesians, we don't wrestle against flesh. It visits every witch and warlock and saves their souls before it's too late. After the wind blows, it can bring healing and freedom and restoration and salvation. And then we look at James five, sixteen, the King James Version, confess your faults one to another and pray one for another that ye may be healed. The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. And we have to remember that, that, you know, we we as we pray, you know, for one another, as we seek out. the perfect will of God, his will as we turn from rebellion, as we get in alignment, then we can walk in that abundant life and have those things. And we need to ensure that we are drawing closer to God in this hour. That we are seeking the stillness so we can truly hear the whisper of the Holy Spirit and know this is the way walking. And ensure that we are planting those seeds of unity and hope and peace and not wanting vengeance. That's not up to us. That's up to God. We're to go and do His will. The outcome's not up to us. And we cannot think so much of ourselves that we start spreading seeds of hate, inciting anger among our fellow brethren, because we are called to unify the body of church because we are under one head, which is Christ. And you may be the arm, I may be the leg, but we are called forth to be in unity and spread the gospel, the gospel of truth, because we are spirit and truth. Operating in spirit and truth. Abba Father, Holy Spirit, just come and have your way in this last few minutes of this segment that we have. Father God, just help them to digest this word that it falls on fertile soil and that it does not fall by the wayside. that it penetrates bone and marrow and that it gets into the crevices of their heart to heal any raw and open wounds that have gate open from the lies of the past. And I speak life over them, O God. I speak healing over them, O God. I speak divine truth, O God. And I speak forth, O God, repentance in this hour. And that we turn as a nation, as a world, back to you, Abba Father. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The God of our precious Lord Jesus. That we become mirror images of Lord Jesus. And reflect his love and peace to a lost, dark, and dying world. Help us, O God. Strengthen us, O God. In this hour, in this moment. I thank you, Father. I know that you've heard me. I know that you're watching after my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Remember, God loves you and I love you. There's no fear in perfect love. We don't operate from a place of fear. We operate from a place of victory. Victory is ours. We get to take it. We get to speak life over our circumstances and speak to that storm. We will have a peaceful election process in the United States of America on election day. We will have a smooth transition of power. There will be no violence. There will be no turmoil. There will be no rioting. There will be none of that because we are a nation under God. We are a nation under God. We serve God, not man. Any plots will be revealed. We will be protected. As we turn towards our loving just God. And turn away from the world's systems. Remember, we're in the world, but not up. And that's today's episode of Reflective Hour with Tammy Toney-Butler. God bless you and keep you. I love you and hear you.
