Welcome to Reflective Hour with Tammy Toney-Butler. I'm your host, but we all know who the host of this show is, and that's Christ. By way of His Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, the Spirit of Christ that lives in us as we adorn ourselves with Christ. and resonate His Truth to His people, the sheep of His pasture, His beloved, His children. May they see You, Jesus, and not me. May they hear You and not me. May they be set free by You, Jesus. It's not me. It's all You. Everything we are is because of you, Lord Jesus, our Savior, our Redeemer, our Advocate, our Burden Bearer. You're everything to us. All that You are is in Your name. Today, let's focus on inner healing. Inner healing. Inner healing is so important when we follow Christ, as we adorn Christ and wear Him as a garment. When you think about that, you move from salvation into complete restoration and wholeness. As you walk along that healing pathway, that journey to wholeness, you resemble Christ in all that you say and do. It can be intimidating, but there's no fear in perfect love. Perfect love casts out all fear. You can't do it in your strength. You do it in His. You call out to Him and He'll answer. He'll help you. He helped me. He helped me shed a food addiction and rebuke that spirit of gluttony. Satan, the Lord rebuke you. Those negative things that are holding you hostage, keeping you bound, that's when you say, Satan, the Lord rebuke you. I have power, love, and a sound mind. By His stripes you were healed. I have been healed. I have been restored. I have been redeemed in Christ Jesus. Freedom is ours. If we only step into it, walk in it, and wear it, we can go into any room with authority, power, strength, and no fear. We can move from a place of courage instead of defeat. A place of victory. A place of victory. Because when we walk into any room, we're taking Christ with us. His Holy Spirit that dwells in us. a river of living water flowing out to others. We have to believe it. We have to step into it. We have to accept that garment. You have a choice. You can wear a garment of shame, fear, regret, self-loathing, or you can take off those heavy clothes and you can exchange them. or a robe of righteousness, a garment of praise, a garment of peace and joy. You get to choose how you dress yourselves. Will you adorn yourself with clothes that resemble Christ, the fruits of his spirit, his truth, his promises, his word? Or will you accept garments knitted by the devil himself and wear his lies? You can exchange that old garment and the weight of it, the shame, the guilt, the fear, the regret, the lies of the enemy. And you can adorn the garment of Christ and his mercy and his grace will guide you, will keep you, will strengthen What does his word say? What does his word say? When we look in Titus, when we look in Titus two and Titus three, we learn about right living in the church and right living in society. And what stuck out to me this morning was in the right living in the church in Titus two, And I was looking at Titus two, and I was looking at Titus two, ten, not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things. Adorn, to wear, to embody, to portray, to live. to live, to reflect Christ, His love, His grace, His mercy, His healing to others, to a world that's in such dire need to see the love of Jesus. And then I go down to Titus two, eleven. Let me read from eleven to fifteen. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world. looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto himself a peculiar people zealous of good works. These things speak and exhort and rebuke with all authority Let no man despise thee. Then when we move on to Titus three, we go into Titus three and I'm going to start with four and I'll probably read down to fifteen. But after that, the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness, which we have done, but according to his mercy, he saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost. See that? By the washing of regeneration, we've been cleansed. We've been regenerated. We're new creatures in Christ Jesus. And now we wear the garment and adorn ourselves with Christ. No longer bound by the heavy lies and clothing that Satan tried to clothe us with. Instead, it's been replaced. not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost, which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life, This is a fateful saying, and these things I will, that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto man. The next section is called Avoid Useless Arguments. Titus three, nine, but avoid foolish questions and genealogies and contentions and strivings about the law, for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is an heretic after the first and second abomination reject, knowing that he that is such is subverted and sinneth being condemned of himself. Now Titus three, starting with twelve in this section is titled Paul's Final Instructions. When I shall send Artemis unto thee, or Tychius, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis, for I have determined there to winter. I have determined there to winter. Bring Zanus the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them. And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful. All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen. Grace be with you all. Amen. Wow. Paul's words. Paul's words. What a leader Paul was. He sought to disciple nations. To raise up leaders to replace him. Are you raising up leaders? Are you raising up disciples? Are you sowing into others? Let's adorn ourselves with Christ. Remove those old garments and step into all he's called us to be as his bride, as His church, as His faithful remnant, as His body this season. He's waiting. He's waiting. He's waiting. Glory be to Jesus. That's all He has for you today on this episode of Reflective Hour with Tammy Toney-Butler. God bless you and keep you. And remember, He loves you, and I love you. God bless.
