Welcome to today's episode of Reflective Hour with Tammy Toney-Butler. I'm your host, but we all know who the real host of this show is, and that's Christ by way of His Holy Spirit, His Spirit of Truth. As I submit and surrender, may you see Him and not me hear His Truth as you have that obedient ear of faith that Abraham had, as you listen, may you hear, may you be transformed, and may you act. Obedience is better than sacrifice.
Oh Father, help us this day, Lord Jesus, guide us by way of Your precious Spirit. Give us the strength to endure yet another day surrounded by our misery, our pain, our brokenness as we try to drag ourselves out of bed, out of that dark, lonely place, that pit of despair that we're in. Help us, oh God help us. We're in need of a Savior. You came for sinners like me. You saw my brokenness. You patched up my wounds. You healed me, cleansed me, and separated me for Your use. As You're calling out your faithful remnant, Your bride, as they prepare for Your arrival. The arrival of their Savior.
Father, so many are lost, crying out in the wilderness, needing to be seen, needing to be heard, needing to be delivered. God, hear our cries, strengthen us, guide us along the path of righteousness, for Your Name's sake. Remove all of our
afflictions. Bear our burdens. For it's in Your strength that we endure, not in ours.
There is nothing we can do to earn our way to heaven or make ourselves righteous; only the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and knowing Him as our Savior make us righteous. You are our life. You're everything, Jesus.
Help me to see You. Help me to know You. Help me draw closer to You. Help me in my darkest hour to reach for You. You do hear me. You are there, You're in my boat of misery, You're in my fiery furnace.
This mountain of debt I face; this mountain of sickness, this mountain of addiction. I call out to You and I speak to that mountain, those mountains, and I say, "Be gone, be cast into the sea."
Father, I cast them into the sea in the name of the Lord Jesus. As it says in Mark
11:22-25, we speak to those mountains in our life, that mountain of depression, that mountain of despair, that mountain, that mountain, that mountain, that stands in the way of our destiny, that stands in the way of our ordained purpose, and we say, " no more." We say, "no more." Because we walk in the promises of Your Word. We know whose we are, who we are, and we know the promises in Your Word are for us, and we speak life over our circumstances. We speak life, no longer curses, no longer death. We are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, the lender, not the borrower.
We are a lamp. We are a powerful Light. We are the wonderworking power of Christ. He's in us, working in and through us, performing miracles, healings, for by His stripes ye are healed. There's no place in your body that He can't heal. There's no wound too deep that He can't fix. There's no sin that He can't forgive if you come to Him with a fully repentant heart and say, "Lord Jesus, I've missed it, help me, make me a new creature, help me to have an obedient ear of faith, for faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." Help me, oh God, as I tether into You, Jesus. As I tether to the hem of Your garment. Get me through this day, get me through this day, get me through this day, as I step into all You've called me to be. May I believe it! May I receive it! May I walk in it! May I rise up, to who You've called me to be. Knowing that I'm a daughter of the King, a son of the King. I am Your righteous remnant. I am the bearer of Your Light in a dark world. I am your change agent. I am the one You've called. The one You've chosen to deliver Your people out of Egypt. Father, it's time that they get Egypt out of them.
Heal them, strengthen them, Father, walk with them, Father, as only You can do, as only You can do, Lord Jesus, as only You can do, Lord Jesus. Cleanse us, purify us, heal us, oh God, as we submit and surrender to You; say no more our way but Yours. Nevertheless let Your will be done, oh God, nevertheless let Your will be done, oh God, nevertheless let Your will be done. Oh God, for in You we have life, in You we have life, in You we have life and freedom. Freedom is ours, freedom is ours, freedom is ours. In the powerful name, Lord Jesus, we pray, we exalt You and glorify You, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our precious Lord Jesus. Hear our cries, strengthen us, oh God, deliver us. Deliver us.
