Welcome to today's episode of Reflective Hour with Tammy Toney-Butler. I'm your host, but we all know who the host of this show is, and that's Christ. Holy Spirit, come have Your way in this time that we have together, may they see You and not me, may they hear You and not me. Take over it's all about You and not about me it's all about You and not about me. Today's title and episode is the "Womb of Love." The womb of love: Jesus represents that nurturing compassionate love like a mother's womb and Father Abba Father who sent His only begotten son to die so that we could live and have abundant life and be free from the weight and heaviness of the sin soaked garments that were placed upon us with the fall of Adam in the garden. Jesus came to give us life to set us free, no longer bound but set free. Oh God, my God help us, as we dissect this Word and seek Your Truth, and only Your Truth, may we hear only what you want us to hear, and see with spiritual eyes, the Truth as we read Psalm 139, out of the Lamsa Bible, an Aramaic
interpretation not found worthy by some biblical scholars, but nevertheles,s the one I will read to you today. Specifically focusing on Psalm 139: 13:
For thou hast made my heart; thou hast accepted me from my mother's womb. I will praise thee because of the wonders which thou hast done; marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knows right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and marvelously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being imperfect; and upon thy books all these things were written, even before day was was and man was brought into existence. How precious also are thy mercies to me oh God! How great is the sum of them? If I should count the best of them, they are more in number than the grains of sand; when I awake I am still with thee.
We'll stop there. I read Psalm 139, all the way down from 13 to 18, and again I read it out of the Lamsa Bible.
Now let's look at the King James Version starting with 139:13:
For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I'm fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
You're never too far from God. He's always with you, even though you can't see Him, He's there. Even in the darkest of times, He's there. Let Him guide you this day. Let Him strengthen you this day. Let Him heal you this day, let Him carry the weight of your troubles as you go through the day. Let Him rescue you, let Him love you, let Him shape and mold you in His womb of love, His compassionate, merciful lens of Truth, that He views you from. You're not under judgment, you're not under condemnation, you're under His Lordship, Lord Jesus Christ. He loves you, and I love you.
God bless and keep you this day as you root yourself deeper in the love of Jesus and seek His healing that only the Cross brings. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus.
