Welcome to today's episode of Reflective Hour. I'm Tammy Toney-Butler, Healing Evangelist and host. But we all know who the host of this show is, and that's Christ. Holy Spirit, come have your way in this time together. Oh, may they see you and not me and hear you and not me. Strengthen them, oh God. Guide them into all truth. Oh God, remove any barriers, any hindrances to this word resonating in their hearts, penetrating bone and marrow
and bringing about your intended will for your people. Oh God, in the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
How many of you are sitting in rebellion and you don't even know it? Are you like Jonah and God has asked you to do something but you refuse to carry out his will
because maybe it will interrupt your plans.
It will disrupt your lifestyle.
Is God calling you to be a beacon of light in a dark world, but yet you hide behind culture, the things of the world,
the world's material possessions,
the world's idol of money,
personal wealth, achievement, titles.
How are you in rebellion? Has God called you to start a ministry and yet you refuse?
Because how will you pay your bills? How will you provide for your family if you leave that sixf figureure job
and live on a modest salary?
What is God calling you to do this season?
Is he calling you to speak truth and light into a dark world? a world so in need of a savior.
How do you know if you're in rebellion? Do you have a healthy fear of the Lord? Have you read the story of Jonah in the Bible?
Are you facing your own storm?
Is it a storm of your own making perhaps?
Are you in disobedience? And God is trying subtly to say, "Come back to me. Come back to me. Come back to me, my wavered sheep. I need you in this hour. I need everyone in this hour to be in their assignment and not in rebellion.
We are the body of Christ under one head which is Christ. We are his holy temple. And he's calling us like a general calls his soldiers to order to fulfill a purpose, a battle strategy, a plan. Victory is assured. But are there soldiers in the fight? How many more can be saved if we step out of our comfortable life and step into God's plan and purpose for our life. His original plan and purpose. He knew us before he knitted us in our mother's womb. We all were born with a purpose. Mine is different than yours, but it's all to bring glory to the father. It's all for the good of the kingdom of God being advanced on earth as it is in heaven. As it it is in heaven. That is what the word of God says. And are you in spiritual alignment?
That is the most important question before you today. And I pray that this message convicts you in your heart because the hour is drawing near.
The harvest is great and the laborers are few. Are you willing to go where God is sending you? Are you willing to go? Are you willing to give up everything like the disciples of old and trust only in God to provide for you? only in God. Not the world, not mammon, not money, not prestige, not power, not your CV, your resume, none of those things.
Are you trusting in God the Father, Adonai, to lead you and guide you into all truth by the spirit of truth, the spirit of God, the spirit of Christ that is within each of you as a believer? But are you grieving the spirit? Are you in rebellion? Are you going your own way? Are you enjoying the comforts of this life more than the calling God has placed on your life? These are tough questions. As Jonah sat in the belly of that well for three days and three nights
like Jesus before he was resurrected in the tomb.
Are you sitting contemplating, questioning your life now? Why you're in a financial drought? Why that relationship didn't work out for you? Why that job was taken from you?
Why are you in right now the storm you're facing? Is it a storm you rebuke like Jesus when he said to the wind to be still and he rebuked that storm? Or is it a storm like Jonah that blew into his life from the breath of God to cause him to change course, to pivot, to come into alignment and stop being in rebellion and follow Father's will.
When you're in a storm, and I've faced many, I turn inward, and I ask myself this question. What is this storm? Why is it in my life? Why this challenge, this adversity? Why am I facing this now, this season right now? And how do I move forward? And that storm I sat in and it forced me to go into the secret place even more and say, "God, am I outside of your will? Am I in alignment? Am I going where you want me to go? Doing what you want me to do? Speaking the way you want me to speak? Is it about timing? and I'm just waiting in trust and surrender.
What is it you're trying to teach me? Because I'm going to praise you in the middle of the storm. I'm going to praise you no matter what, my God. I'm going to sing your praises, but are you trying to teach me something? Are you trying to to make me pivot? Are you trying to help me live the life that you pre-ordained and destined before you formed me in my mother's womb? And life happened. In my case, trauma happened and it changed the trajectory of my life. And when I let go of all of it and I became whole in Christ Jesus with his mind and heart, did I truly move into alignment for my assignment and refuse to pivot or move from what God has ordained and called me to do in this season of my life? Because we know the signs of the time, the season. We know the nature of our world, the culture. We know how many prophecies have been fulfilled and the word. We only need to look to Revelation and read it to see the times we're living in and know that the Messiah's coming is closer than ever before. And do you want to be found in rebellion? Or do you want to be found in alignment to bring about the great harvest, the great awakening in God's people where they're spiritually dead become alive. Those that are in famine become so full of the bread of life and drink from the living well of water that never runs dry.
What are you sowing this season? What does your fruit say about you? Is it fruit that God has produced or the world? And if it was all gone tomorrow, where would you be? Would you be anchored in the cornerstone, the sure foundation, the rock? Would you be able to withstand that storm? Or would you sink under the pressure of it all like Jonah?
Like Jonah was sinking when he was cast out of the boat before he was swallowed up by the well. When he called out to God, are you calling out to God like Jonah? Are you saying, "My God, my God, I worship you. I praise you. Guide me into all truth. That's a season we're in. We have to stop and look inward. And many of you know I found a reflective spaces ministry and this is part of our healing ministry program even this podcast and the reflective spaces ministry podcast. And it hit me the other day, why reflective spaces? And I realized the stronger I became in Christ Jesus and shed layer and layer of the past and of the lies and deception of the enemy placed upon me as an innocent little girl when all those bad things happened to her. And I realized the more that I let go and I became in Christ Jesus that I was able to create the own reflective space within my heart to where I could look inward and be safe, covered by the shadow in the wing of the Almighty God and process the storms of life and that I'd become anchored in the rock, no longer blown blown about to and fro by every wind of adversity that came but standing on the one sure foundation and for the first time in my life knowing that I'm walking in alignment knowing that I'm walking in step in tandem ordered steps by the Lord as a righteous remnant proclaiming that the great day of the Lord is coming that Jesus Lord Jesus is coming in the clouds and we need to be ready. Church, wake up. We need to be ready. Bride, we need to be ready. Is there oil in your lamp? Will you be found in rebellion? Or will you be found in surrendered obedient trust doing the will of God the father, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our precious Lord Jesus, Adonai Elohim, Yahweh. That's the question before you today. That's what this episode of reflective hour is about. for you to sit still, get alone with God, get in the secret place, and ask yourself, am I in rebellion or am I in the center of God's will? Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. May God guide you. May he keep you. May he guard you. May he strengthen you. May he open your eyes. May he open your heart. May you be in alignment. May you be in alignment. May you be in alignment because the timing of him coming is drawing near and we must be ready. We must be ready. That is what God is saying to you today. That is what is saying to the church. We must be ready. We must be ready. We must be ready. We must be ready. We must be ready. Go and conquer. Get into alignment. Get out of rebellion and get into your purpose. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. That's this episode of Reflective Hour.
