Welcome to today's episode of Reflective Hour with Tammy Toney-Butler, Healing Evangelist. I'm your host, but we all know who the real host of this show is, and that's Christ. Holy Spirit, come have your way in this time that we have together. May they hear you and not me. May they see you and not me. May this message penetrate their heart and they be forever changed in the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen. How many of you are facing an uphill battle?

Climbing a mountain day after day in a world that's chaotic, full of darkness, hard choices, difficult circumstances to overcome. How many of you are trying to do it in your own strength instead of asking God for help? How many of you are trying to go your own way

instead of turning to God?

Submitting to God's will for your life. Surrendering and faithful trust obedience to the creator and his call on your life. How many of you want to quit? Wonder if it's worth it? Will you even make it to the top? What will it look like when you get there? If only I knew how many more steps were left, how many more miles? How many more mountains I had to overcome to arrive at the goal, the destination in order to be classified as fighting the good fight of faith. But what you realize, the stronger you get through his strength and not your own, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter how many steps are left, how many hills you have to climb. What matters is the journey and what you learn along the way and who you take with you on the journey.

Are you building a community of followers of believers? Are you relying on your brothers and sisters to help you scale that mountain? Often times we try to go it alone. We think our way is the best way. We can do it in our strength. We put ourselves on the throne, but we know Christ is on the throne. He's everything to us. He's our God. He's everything. Fully man, fully God, our savior, our redeemer. He died on the cross. His blood was shed on Calvary. And he rose again so that we could be forgiven of our sins. Sent a helper, the Holy Spirit, to comfort and guide us as we do life in Christ. Christ is in us and we don't scale any mountain in our own strength. We do it in his and we remember who's we are in Christ Jesus and we draw strength from that living well. That well of living water that never runs dry. Fresh oil is always available to us when we call for it. When we say, "Jesus, help us. Holy Spirit, give us fresh oil. Strengthen us." As it says in Isaiah 40:31, give us that strength. Help us to soar like the eagle so that we never grow faint. Help us like it says in Psalm 91 that we never dash our foot against a stone because your angels are with us. Oh God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our precious Lord Jesus, the creator of all things. We call forth your will for our lives and trust in you. And as we set out to scale that mountain, we don't do it alone. We have others with us. Iron sharpens iron. So as a unified body of believers, surrounded by our brothers and sisters in Christ, we grow stronger. We encourage each other. And halfway through when we want to quit, we sit on a bench surrounded by beautiful trees, flowers, and butterflies. And we sit there and we remind ourselves of who's with us, who's with us in the boat, who's with us in the middle of the storm. and we gather our strength

to keep going and we don't quit. We don't compromise because breakthrough is right around the corner. But how many of us quit before we reach it? Before we reach the destination, be before we reach our purpose, before we get to our true identity in Christ Jesus, why we were formed. How many of us quit along the road of transformation? How many of us quit when life gets hard? When the climb is steep, when we're out of breath, when our legs are so tired that our flesh is screaming, "Just turn back. Just quit. You don't need to go any higher. You don't need to fight anymore." But that's when the breakthrough happens is when you realize you're not who they say or said you were. You're not that person of the past. You've become something new, something stronger, something in Christ Jesus, someone who truly believes their identity that they are fearfully and beautifully and wonderfully made a daughter of son of the king. And I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. It is his death on the cross, his blood shed at Calvary that sets us free. And he who the son sets free is free indeed. So I say to you today, don't quit. Don't quit. Don't quit. Keep climbing. Keep trusting. Keep speaking to that mountain like it says in Mark 11:22-2.

Keep obeying. Keep fighting the good fight of faith. Know that in time you will get to that place to where you can see clearly and the view is so breathtaking and you know the reason you fought so hard to finish so that you could be in alignment so that you could be where God needs you to be so that the kingdom can come to earth as it it is in heaven. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Keep fighting. Someone is waiting on the other side of your obedience.

Every breakthrough, every breakthrough brings such a testimony

of faith, that trust, that surrendered obedience, that perseverance, that endurance. As you strengthen that faith muscle, as you grow stronger in your identity as a follower of Yeshua, of the Lord Jesus Christ, and as you grow in fullness, moving from milk to meat, moving in maturity in Christ, knowing who's you are, and you won't be shaken. You'll rise up from that bench, halfway up that mountain, and you'll finish. You'll finish until you get to the top. Even if you don't know how many steps are left, even if you don't know how much more agony you have to endure, you will endure. You will make it because Christ is with you. And there's no battle you fight in your own strength. You fight from a place of victory. Never forget that Jesus won the victory when he died on the cross and rose again. And he is seated in heavenly places to the right of the father. He's with you now. He You can't see him, but he's with you. Stay strong. Don't quit. Don't turn back. Don't put that foot back in the past. You need two feet in today to keep walking up those steps to your identity, to your purpose, to your breakthrough, to your destination. go and conquer knowing God's with you, knowing he has you, and knowing you will persevere no matter what you're facing. Maybe it's a battle. You've gotten a diagnosis from a doctor. Maybe you've got a stack of bills and you don't know how you're going to pay them. You will make it. You will make it. You will make it. God will never leave you nor forsake you. You hang on. You fight the good fight of faith. You stay in trust. You refuse to quit. And know that you're more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus.
