Welcome to today's episode of Reflective Hour. I'm Tammy Toney-Butler, your Host and Healing Evangelist. But we all know who the host of this show is, and that's Christ. Holy Spirit, come have your way in this time that we have together. May they hear you and not me, see you and not me. May any fog that's obstructing their sight be removed in the name of Jesus. May they see clearly. May they hear clearly as you direct their path this season, this day, and every day. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray and declare all things. Amen.

How many of you have been overcome by the fog?

The fog that threatens to derail you, cause you to crash.

How many of you see fog as a negative and not a positive?

How many of you look to your creator aba father

when conditions on the ground are cloudy?

How many of you seek him for clarity of purpose, clarity of direction, spiritual alignment?

Draw close to God and he'll draw close to you.

Knock and the door shall be opened unto you. Seek and you shall find.

How many of you look at the fog as a blessing when it finally clears away?

How many of you see it for what it is? A way to water the seeds that have been planted in your soul.

A way for you to be still, to trust, to observe,

to hear God's voice clearly

because you can't see what's right in front of you. So, you must focus on faith and walk by faith and not by sight. So, the fog's a blessing, but do you see it? Do you use it to your advantage?

Or do you complain, try to pray it away?

I remember

a time in the past a few years ago when I was preparing for an event

and I remember saying to the Lord, "Lord, I need to wash off all those chairs by the lake." And it's a pretty good distance from our barn or a water source down to our lake. And I said, 'You know, I really need to clean off these chairs around the fire pit and around the overlook. And I just remember talking to God and I was sitting on the front porch and I I had to actually wipe the chair off because it was so foggy and I wanted to sit down and have my coffee. And so I just spent time kind of grumbling instead of really sitting in God's presence and looking around and realizing that he blessed me with the fog. Because as I wiped off that chair to sit on, I realized, wait a minute, the chair was wet and I felt a drop come off of the of the uh roof line of the house. And I thought, "Wow, there's water." And then it hit me, "Wait a minute. God supplied the water that I needed through the fog to wipe off every chair down by the lake. So, the fog was a blessing. And he had supplied everything I needed in that moment to prepare to prepare for that event that evening. And he did the same thing for me on Saturday right before an event we had on the ranch. It was just the biggest fog came through and it was just raining everywhere from the fog and I knew instantly and this time the difference was the moment I saw it. I had I realized what he had done for me in the past. And how many times has he had he brought the fog to help me to slow me down to seek him and look at him and I didn't see it. I didn't focus on it. I maybe grumbled or complained. But because I had experiential knowledge and lived experience and I knew that he brought that fog the last time and I was able to to wash off every chair by the lake without ever needing me to haul a bucket of water.

He helped me then. And so I grabbed a cloth and I went down by the lake because I knew the fog would lift and the water would dry up and it was all about timing. And so I went down by the lake and I was just praising him. Thank you, Father. And I wiped off every chair and made it clean. And I went and wiped off the overlooked chairs. And it saved me so much time because I relied on Father. And I recognized the blessing that he brought to me in the simplest manner. But it was the fog to clean the chairs before an event for his children. And he's a good father. What father if their child asks for bread, he gives a stone? Or if they ask for fish, he gives them a serpent. He's a good father. And so I saw in that moment how time after time after time he supplies everything I need in the moment in the moment. But we can get focused on the negative and not see the positive. And when the fog clears,

are you breaking out of those old mindsets and breaking into all God's called you to be? Are you recognizing the blessings, the people he's brought into your life to be a blessing, the situations?

Or are you refusing to seek him for help or recognize the help he's already given you?

We have to rely on each other, especially during the foggy seasons. We can't see clearly. But most importantly, we must rely on God as our source. He's our only source. He can be our only source. He can be our only source for clarity. So, we get alone with him. We seek his guidance. We wait on him to whisper to us, reminding us of our calling, seeking spiritual alignment, not letting anything come in to kill, steal, destroy, or distract. Because when that fog clears and that path is open or that door opens or that opportunity comes, will you be ready to receive it? Will you see it? Even if it's so small, even if it's not the way you envisioned it or the or the way you thought it should be, will you see it? Will you grasp in that moment that you're to walk that way, to go to that meeting, to go to that conference, to go to that church, to go to that house meeting? Will you see it? Will you know it? Will you understand what God is trying to do in and through you for the benefit of his bride, of his church? Will you surrender enough and allow God to establish your steps? Clear all the fog. Will you surrender enough to God during the foggy seasons of your life where you can't see clearly, you can't see an open door, you can't see the right way, will you stop, pause and say, "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, show me the way. Holy Spirit, guide me into all truth. Guide me along paths of righteousness for your name's sake." Not my will, Lord, but yours be done. I thank you, Father. I thank you for the fog. I thank you for the beauty in your creation. I thank you for bringing me everything I need. I'm grateful. I'm grateful when I have much and I'm grateful when I have little because everything I have is bestowed upon me by you, Aba Father, the great creator of it all. It's all yours, God. And I thank you for it. And I praise you and I worship you. Praise him this day. Praise him this day. Praise him this day. And may the fog clear from your path and you see clearly the direction you need to take. In the mighty name of Jesus, we declare all things. And I pray that over you.
