Good morning and welcome to Daily Dose of Healing I'm Tammy Toney-Butler Healing Evangelist but we all know who the host of this show is and that's Christ this is a series that we're going to be doing as part of the Reflective Hour Podcast I want you to understand how unforgiveness can impact your healing. We cannot stand an unforgiveness, a hidden sin, a sin that's actually disobedience because God's word calls for us to forgive those that have hurt us. Pray for those that have persecuted us Because forgiveness only affects us. It becomes a spiritual heart blockage to the flow of the word going into you, penetrating you, and you being changed. Having the heart of Christ and the mind of Christ. And we don't want anything stopping us from becoming all God's called us to be. It's a spiritual sickness in essence. And we need to speak to that sickness and command it to be healed in the name of Jesus. And you say, well, Tammy, how do I do it? How do I forgive those that hurt me? Forgiving my mother was very difficult when she opened me up to victimization over and over again. But I knew that she parented me in survival mode, never dealing with her own trauma and parented me through survival responses, trauma responses from a place, parented me from a place of woundedness where she never received healing and resolution and restoration from her own childhood trauma. So I forgave my mother and I forgave myself for things that I said and things that I did to others when I too spoke to others through a trauma adapted brain. Jesus healed me of all that, set me free, released me from bondage and he's waiting to do the same for you. Unforgiveness blocks your healing. Remember Mark eleven, twenty two to twenty five. You can't stand in any unforgiveness. Because if you want to speak to that mountain and cast it into the sea. You must have a forgiving heart like Jesus, like Stephen, when they prayed for those that persecuted them. Showing them love and grace and mercy. Lord Jesus was our example when he walked the earth. He showed us the way. Let's look at scripture to back this up in this little dose of healing for today. As Christians, we cannot hold on to the bitterness and the anger or unforgiveness in our hearts. We have to remember that. That's vital. That's key. So some scripture, Ephesians four, Verse twenty six to twenty seven out of the Amplified Bible. Be angry at sin and immorality and injustice and ungodly behavior. Yet do not sin. Do not let your anger cause you shame or allow it to last until the sun goes down. And do not give the devil an opportunity to lead you into sin by holding a grudge or nurturing anger or harboring resentment or cultivating bitterness. Those things. hidden sin in our heart that open us up to demonic attack you do not want to give the devil any place you don't want to open up anything to him any gateway you want to close it have any case dismissed in the courtroom against you so that you can go into any situation and free, purified, innocent, holding no bitterness, no unforgiveness, no anger, nothing in your heart, but having that purified heart that the Lord Jesus Christ wants us to have as servants of him and of the kingdom of God. Ephesians four, twenty six to twenty seven out of the King James version. Be angry and sin not. Let not the sun go down upon your wrath. Neither give place to the devil. Ephesians four, thirty one to thirty two out of the NIV. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you. Matthew six, fourteen to fifteen out of the NIV. For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your father will not forgive your sins. Luke twenty three, thirty four, the King James Version. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment and cast lots. Wow. Acts seven, fifty-nine to sixty of the King James Version. And as they were stoning Stephen, he called out, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And falling to his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, Lord, do not hold this sin against them. And when he had said this, he fell asleep. And then we look at Matthew eighteen, twenty-one to twenty-two, King James Version. Then came Peter to him and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Till seven times. Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee until seven times, but until seventy times seven. Seventy times seven. Wow. That gives us the roadmap, the guide to follow. We just need to look to God's word for the truth. And this season, you will let go bitterness, unforgiveness, resentment, anger. You will walk in purity of heart, a free flowing vessel that the Lord Jesus is going to flow through and use mightily for his kingdom. Your voice will be a voice that heals, that restores, that redeems, because he will be speaking through you through a purified heart. And that is what I prophesy over you this season. So step into who he's called you to be. Let go of all those seeds that are in your heart that won't grow good fruit and instead bear good fruit for the kingdom of God this season. And if you say, I don't know how, say, Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, help me to forgive them, those that hurt me. Help me to forgive myself because I hurt people. Holy Spirit, help me. Jesus, wash me clean by your blood. I repent of all unforgiveness in my heart. Wash me clean. And with this prayer, I know that it's gone, that I'm forgiven, and I've been released and healed and set free in the power of Lord Jesus Christ. And he who the Son sets free is free indeed. And that's the word he has for you today in this daily dose of healing in our segment on unforgiveness, bitterness, resentment, anger, those things that cannot stand up against the light and truth that the word of God brings. For we are to call forth the light in this hour, not the darkness. We are to be bearers of light to the kingdom of God. Now go and sin no more. And sin no more. and sin no more. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus.
